Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) has sharply criticized World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency firm associated with the Trump family, for its "seriously inadequate" response to a Senate inquiry. The senator accused the company of evading questions about potential financial entanglements that could compromise the President.

Blumenthal highlighted concerns that foreign governments might exploit the firm to influence U.S. leadership. The refusal to address basic questions about business practices has intensified scrutiny on the company’s operations.
